IDGC of North-West, JSC Team Took Seventh Place at IDGC Holding Olympics
Grigoriy Sharankov (Pskovenergo) and Alexander Pavlov (Novgorodenergo) won “silver” and “bronze” in individual chess games, while Andrey Sidorenko (Arkhenergo) took the third place in swimming
Results of the II All-Russian Winter Olympics for Power Engineers of Distribution Complex which took place on 17 and 18 February at Stupino, Moscow Region have been summed. Russian power engineers competed in chess, skiing, swimming, and table tennis. IDGC of North-West took the seventh place in team competition.
In team chess game, the IDGC of North-West, JSC team took the third place. In individual chess game, Grigoriy Sharankov (Pskovenergo branch) and Alexander Pavlov (Novgorodenergo branch) won “silver” and “bronze”, correspondingly. Totally, 39 participants in 13 teams took part in quick chess competition.
Andrey Sidorenko (Arkhenergo branch) won the bronze prize in individual swimming competition.
Out of counting, there was carried out a “Track-2014” mass race devoted to coming Winter Olympics in Sochi. Artur Myaki, the Head of the team, the Chairman of Primary Trade Union Organization of IDGC of North-West, JSC, and the Head of the Department for Prospective Development and Technological Connection participated in 2,014 meters ski race.
IDGC of Centre and Volga Region, JSC became leader in team competition of the Second Olympics by “IDGC Holding”, JSC. Second and third places were taken by IDGC of South, JSC and IDGC of Volga Region, JSC.
