IDGC of the North-West, JSC has lived through the New Year holidays period without serious technological failures. During the period from December 31, 2011 to January 7, 2012 12 storm warnings were received on wind strengthening up to 20 m/s within the territory of Karelenergo, Kolenergo, Novgorodenergo and Pskovenergo branches. Local damages of overhead transmission lines were rectified in normal operation mode using proprietary resources. On December 30, short before New Year’s Eve, a repair team of Novgorodenergo branch of IDGC of the North-West assisted their Lenenergo, JSC colleagues in rectification of transmission lines damages in the Volosovo District of the Leningrad Region. On December 31 the team returned home.
